Chris Farren has dropped a surprise album.
'Death Don’t Wait (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)' comprises a film score to an imaginary crime thriller film of the same name.
The mostly instrumental release includes contributions from Jeff Rosenstock, Macseal's Frankie Impastato, and AJJ’s Mark Glick, and draws inspiration from Marvin Gaye's soundtrack to Trouble Man, and movies such as Dirty Harry and James Bond.
In true film score fashion, it opens with its own strings-assisted, Bond-esque theme ballad, the record's main title and only non-instrumental, sung by Laura Stevenson channelling Nancy Sinatra. Press play below.
