The Smile Post New Track Skrting On The Surface

Thursday, 17 March 2022 Written by Jon Stickler

The Smile have released a new song.

Skrting On The Surface serves as the third single from the supergroup formed of Radiohead's Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood, and Sons of Kemet’s Tom Skinner.

Following their previous tracks The Smoke and You Will Never Work In Television Again, the guitar-led, psychedelic new cut was originally recorded as a Radiohead b-side. It comes paired with a video by director Mark Jenkin, shot inside an abandoned Tin Mine in Cornwall.

The Smile will embark on their debut UK and European tour in May, which includes two dates at London's Roundhouse, along with stops in Edinburgh and Manchester.

The Smile Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows

Sun May 29 2022 - LONDON Roundhouse
Mon May 30 2022 - LONDON Roundhouse
Wed June 01 2022 - EDINBURGH Usher Hall
Thu June 02 2022 - MANCHESTER Albert Hall
