Disclosure Release Raye Collaboration Waterfall

Wednesday, 23 March 2022 Written by Jon Stickler

Disclosure have dropped a collaboration with Raye.

Waterfall premiered as BBC Radio 1's Hottest Record, and marks the first team-up between the artists. It arrives hot on the heels of the dance duo's run of London shows, during which they premiered the sunny, garage-influenced track. Disclosure commented:

"Raye is such a dream to work with in the studio. Best way to describe her is as a hook machine! You get the beat rolling and vibes going and she gives you like five chorus melody options straight away… she makes writing the way we do so easy and enjoyable.

"We all knew within five minutes we were gonna make a UKG summer sunshine banger and that’s exactly what we ended up with. We all had London and it’s beautiful musical history in our hearts that day and we hope that comes across to the listener."

Raye added: "This was really the first song Disclosure and I had created together, and everyone loved it, it came together really quickly and organically. The boys led with a garage vibe and I think it’s summertime warm energy! I hope people love it as much as we enjoyed making it."

Back in January, Disclosure combined with Zedd for the single You've Got To Let Go If You Want To Be Free. They have US shows in the diary for the remainder of the spring, before topping the bill at the UK's All Points East and Boardmasters festivals in the summer. They've also been confirmed as headliners for Belfast's inaugural Emerge Festival, alongside Eric Prydz.

Raye, meanwhile, put out her mini album 'Euphoric Sad Songs' in 2020.

Disclosure Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows

Sat August 27 2022 - LONDON Victoria Park
Sun August 28 2022 - BELFAST Boucher Road Playing Field
