Tim Heidecker Announces New Album 'High School' And Summer North American Tour

Tim Heidecker has announced a new album.
'High School', the follow-up to 2020's 'Fear of Death', will arrive on June 24 through Spacebomb Records. The comedian and musician co-produced the record with Drew Erickson, Eric D. Johnson, and Mac DeMarco, and it boasts a collaboration with Kurt Vile.
Alongside the album announcement, he's shared the its opening track, Buddy. Led by acoustic guitar, it's a lo-fi cut with folk and '60s surf-rock influences.
Heidecker has also announced a summer North American tour that will begin on July 5 with a short residency at the Elysian Theatre in Los Angeles. The shows will feature one half of stand-up and one of music. Explaining it online, he said:
"This live two-parter is half “No More Bullshit” stand-up, half Tim Heidecker and The Very Good Band and 100% future award winning live experience."
Tickets go on general sale at 10am local time on April 15.
