Orbital have announced a new album.

'30 Something' will be released on July 15 and feature reworks, remakes, remixes and re-imaginings of the duo's tracks, including Chime, Satan, The Box, Impact and Halycon.

The record will also feature appearances from Orbital-inspired artists and DJs, including Joris Voorn, Dusky, Jon Tejada, Yotto, and David Holmes. It will be available on double CD, a four-LP box set and digitally.

As a preview, brothers Phil and Paul Hartnoll have shared a new mix of their 2012 single Where Is It Going? featuring the late theoretical physicist Stephen Hawking, which appeared in that year's London Paralympics Opening Ceremony. They said:

"This is our special Paralympic version of ‘Where Is It Going?', featuring the fantastic Stephen Hawking. He’s tackling the big question of the unification of physics and the understanding of a theory of everything. We’re not there yet, we can’t even find a unification socially as a species but hopefully one day we will find out where we are going…”

Orbital have a number of festival appearances in the diary for this summer, with sets lined up at Kaleidoscope Festival, Beyond The Pale Festival and Moovin Festival, among others.

Orbital Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows

Sat June 18 2022 - CORK Live At The Marquee
Sat July 23 2022 - LONDON Alexandra Palace
