Robbie Williams has announced a new album.
'XXV' will arrive on September 9 via Columbia Records and serves as the singer and former Take That member's 13th solo studio album, and first since 2019's 'The Christmas Present'.
Celebrating his 25th anniversary as a solo artist, it finds Williams reimagining hits such as Angels, Millennium, and No Regrets, orchestrated by Jules Buckley, Guy Chambers and Steve Sidwell, and re-recorded with Metropole Orkest.
As a preview, the 48-year-old has shared a powerful new version of Angels, revamped with notably stronger vocals and lush string and horn arrangements. The record will also boast a new track called Lost, with the deluxe edition containing three more original cuts; Disco Symphony, More Than This, and The World And Her Mother. He said:
"I'm so excited to announce my new album 'XXV' which celebrates many of my favourite songs from the past 25 years. Each track has a special place in my heart, so it was a real thrill to record them again with the Metropole Orkest. Can't wait for you all to hear it."
Having recently played his first ever hometown show at Vale Park Stadium in Stoke-on-Trent, Williams will play a headline concert in Munich, Germany in August — one of his biggest to date. Tickets are on sale now.
