Within Temptation have shared a video for Don't Pray For Me.
The track arrived earlier in July as the Dutch symphonic metallers' fourth single leading up to their forthcoming album, due in 2023, though specifics are still to be revealed.
The cinematic clip, meanwhile, shows the band performing in a giant shrine, interspersed with some dark images. Vocalist Sharon den Adel commented:
"Don’t Pray For Me strives against forcing beliefs and fears onto others and bears witness to being acceptive of everyone’s own journey. It is an anthem about coming to terms with the fact that beliefs can be fluid, multiple or frankly: different. The song is about allowing people to pursue their own destiny."
In addition to summer festival slots and dates with Iron Maiden, the band will team up with Evanescence in November for the rescheduled UK and European leg of their co-headline Worlds Collide Tour.
