Dolly Parton Confirms November Release For 'Diamonds & Rhinestones: The Greatest Hits Collection'

Dolly Parton has announced a new greatest hits collection.
The career-spanning 'Diamonds & Rhinestones: The Greatest Hits Collection' will arrive on November 18 via RCA Records, Dolly Records and Legacy Recordings, the catalog division of Sony Music Entertainment.
It'll comprise 23 of the country icon's recordings from between 1971 and 2020, for the first time bringing together songs originally put out on Dolly Records, RCA Victor and Columbia Records on one release. Also, among the tracklist is the singer's digital single When Life Is Good Again, which was written and recorded during the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic.
The release also boasts liner notes penned by Robert K. Oermann, who collaborated with Parton on her 2020 autobiography, Dolly Parton, Songteller: My Life in Lyrics. In a note to fans, she wrote:
"Every one of these songs has a special memory behind it for me. I hope that you make some special memories of your own while listening to them. Enjoy the Diamonds & Rhinestones album. - Musically yours, Dolly"
Parton will be honoured as an inductee for the 2022 Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame at the 37th annual ceremony in Los Angeles on November 5.
