Lewis Capaldi has unveiled a video for his new single, Forget Me.
Released earlier in September, the song marks the Scottish singer-songwriter's first new original material since the extended edition of his 2019 debut album, 'Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent'.
The Louis Bhose-directed clip, meanwhile, was filmed at the famous Pikes Hotel in Ibiza, which was also the setting for the video accompanying Wham!'s 1983 hit Club Tropicana. Bhose commented:
"You hear a sad song and you expect a sad video. There's catharsis in that. But to go in the other direction completely felt more in line with the Lewis that walked onstage at Glastonbury in full Noel Gallagher getup.
"The performance is classic Capaldi: 'yeah, no bother, just singing this song with a cocktail in my hand. I’m fine, not thinking about my ex, here at Club Tropicana.'"
