Rescheduled Date For Mercury Prize 2022 Awards Ceremony Announced

The awards show for the 2022 Mercury Prize with FREE NOW will now take place on October 18.
The annual ceremony was scheduled to take place on September 8, but was postponed shortly before it was scheduled to begin due to the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
It has now been confirmed that the awards show will take place from 9pm BST on Tuesday, October 18, at its original venue of the Eventim Apollo in London. The BBC will be covering the event live.
The nominations for the 2022 Mercury Prize include Harry Styles, who is in the running with his third solo album 'Harry's House', Gwenno, who has been put forward for 'Tresor', Little Simz for 'Sometimes I Might Be Introvert' and Yard Act for their debut LP 'The Overload', with the winner set to succeed Arlo Parks.
