CVC, aka Church Village Collective, have announced their debut album.
The rising Welsh band will drop 'Get Real' on January 13 through CVC Recordings via Secretly Distribution. As a preview, they've shared the record's first single, Good Morning Vietnam, a psych-rock stomper that builds to a catchy chorus. Commenting on it, they said:
"It's about a time when everyone around us seemed to be wrapped up in Tinder and one-night stands. The album was recorded with love in the living room of a student house in Cardiff around one microphone, as we searched for a new sound. We used pots and pans for percussion, Welsh thunder for atmosphere and 40p Ramen Noodle soups for dinner."
The news follows a summer of live shows and their 'Real To Reel' EP, which was released in September. They have a handful of dates lined up during October, culminating with an appearance at Cardiff's Swn Festival.
CVC Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows
Thu October 13 2022 - BIRMINGHAM Dead Wax
Fri October 14 2022 - GLASGOW McChuills
Thu October 20 2022 - BATH Moles
