CVC Share New Track Sophie

CVC, aka Church Village Collective, have shared a new song.

Following October's single Good Morning Vietnam, Sophie swirls around a '60s-inspired psych-pop groove. It marks the latest preview of the rising Welsh band's debut album, 'Get Real'. The group commented:

"[Sophie] is a love letter to Nanial's wonderful girlfriend, and about how she can sing; the whole sing, and nothing but the sing - but won't sing in front of the band," adding, "the closest we ever got was the spoken-word intro she gave us for this tune."

The record will arrive on January 13 through CVC Recordings via Secretly Distribution, following up September's 'Real To Reel' EP.

They'll play the O2 Academy Sheffield with Joe Carnall JNR in December, before a string of Rough Trade shows around the LP's release. Head here for details.
