Manchester Orchestra Share New Single The Way Ahead Of 'The Valley Of Vision' Release

Manchester Orchestra have shared The Way.
The piano and percussion-driven track serves as the second preview of 'The Valley Of Vision' EP, which is due out digitally this Friday (March 10), following up the Atlanta band's 2021 album, 'The Million Masks Of God'. Physical formats will follow on April 7 via Loma Vista Recordings.
Having announced the six-song project with opening track Capital Karma in February, the EP will arrive alongside a companion cinematic virtual reality film, directed by Isaac Deitz, who said:
"Experiencing the film in its intended 180-degree, 3D VR format feels like downloading a dream into your head. Each symbol represents a different experience nested in our internal worlds; it's up to you whether you want to just enjoy them, or try to interpret what the dream means."
The Valley Of Vision film will receive its global premiere on the group's official YouTube channel at 7:45pm EST this Thursday (March 9) / 12:45am GMT this Friday (March 10). Head below to view the teaser trailer.
The livestream will also include the first After Party that YouTube Music has done for a film premiere, with band members and Deitz set to discuss the making of The Valley Of Vision, alongside answering questions from fans.
Manchester Orchestra will play two shows at London's Union Chapel on May 13 and 15. They'll also perform a hometown set at the 10th Anniversary of Shaky Knees festival.
