The Stranglers Plot Spring 2024 UK And Ireland Shows For Fifty Years In Black The Anniversary Tour

The Stranglers will celebrate their 50th anniversary with UK and Ireland shows in 2024.
The legendary band have confirmed 13 dates for Fifty Years In Black The Anniversary Tour, including stops in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Belfast, Dublin, Newcastle, Manchester, Wolverhampton, Nottingham, Cambridge, Sheffield, Portsmouth, Bristol and London, where they'll headline the Royal Albert Hall, between March 8 and 26.
Each night, the hugely influential group will celebrate the milestone with two sets featuring songs from the band's inception through to the present. Tickets go on general sale at 9am on May 19.
The Stranglers' latest album is 2021's 'Dark Matters'. It was their last full-length to feature keyboardist Dave Greenfield, who passed away in 2020. It's also the first studio release recorded without founding drummer Jet Black, who retired from performing with the band in 2015.
