Celine Dion has cancelled the previously rescheduled UK and European leg of her Courage World Tour due to ongoing health issues.
The trek was set to begin on March 6 in Prague, with the UK and Ireland leg taking place between April 5 and 22. Stops included two shows apiece in Dublin, Manchester, Glasgow, Birmingham and London, where the tour was set to wrap up at The O2. Tickets for the cancelled shows will be refunded via the original point of purchase. Dion said:
"“I’m so sorry to disappoint all of you once again. I’m working really hard to build back my strength, but touring can be very difficult even when you’re 100%. It’s not fair to you to keep postponing the shows, and even though it breaks my heart, it’s best that we cancel everything now until I’m really ready to be back on stage again. I want you all to know, I’m not giving up… and I can’t wait to see you again!”
In April, Dion released a new single, Love Again, one of five new songs of hers that appeared on the soundtrack for the film of the same name.
