The Mysterines have returned with a new single called Begin Again.

Fusing indie-rock with guitar-led alt-pop, the track serves as the first taste of their forthcoming second album, though details on that are still to be unveiled.

The song arrives as the band hit the road as support for Arctic Monkeys on their stadium tour this summer. Vocalist Lia Metcalfe said:

"Written during a full moon in a barn in the West Country, Begin Again felt like finding a key to the spirit realm the evening it arrived. It felt like I was embarking on a surreal journey of self dissolution; think of the first verse as a set of instructions, and see how far reality stretches."

The four-piece, who put out their debut LP 'Reeling' in 2022, will appear at various festivals this summer, including Suffolk's Latitude and Scotland's Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival in July, then Live At Leeds In The City in October.
