Bombay Bicycle Club have announced their sixth studio album.
The follow-up to 2000's 'Everything Else Has Gone Wrong' is called 'My Big Day' and will arrive on October 20 via AWAL.
Produced by vocalist and guitarist Jack Steadman at North London's The Church Studios, and the band’s own studio, it boasts guest collaborations with Damon Albarn, Jay Som, Nilüfer Yanya and Holly Humberstone. Another big name is set to be revealed in the next few months.
To celebrate the news, the four-piece have shared the record's title track, a unique, upbeat indie-pop song. Head below to view the accompanying video, directed by Jon Higgs from Everything Everything and Kit Monteith, a percussionist for Foals.
The band will play London's EartH Concert Hall tonight (June 15), ahead of appearances at various UK and European festivals, including Mad Cool, Y Not?, Pukkelpop and WOMAD. They also have a date at Leeds' Project House scheduled for July.
Following the summer, they'll hit the road for a run of tiny shows in association with record stores, before a European tour in November. Head here for details.
