Shaun Ryder, Zak Starkey, Andy Bell And Bez Share New Mantra Of The Cosmos Single X (Wot You Sayin?)

Mantra of The Cosmos have released their new single, X (Wot You Sayin?).

Built around a grooving beat, the psych-pop offering marks the second single from the supergroup, which comprises Zak Starkey from The Who, Oasis bassist Andy Bell and Happy Mondays stars Shaun Ryder and Bez. They're now also joined by The Fall's Brix Smith and Sshh Liguz.

Inspired by Ryder's nickname at school, it was co-penned by Ryder and Bell, with Starkey producing. It follows the group's previously debut single, Gorilla Guerilla, and their Glastonbury debut on the Glade Stage in June.

Starkey, son of Beatles legend Sir Ringo Starr, commented: "It’s a brilliant allegorical lyric by Britain’s Bob Dylan and velvety underground drone from Andy Bell."
