Dolly Parton has released an all-star cover of Let It Be.

The Country superstar has enlisted the song's writer, the Beatles' Paul McCartney, as well his bandmate Ringo Starr, and special guests Peter Frampton and Mick Fleetwood for a beefed up rework complete with guitar solo. She said:

“Well, does it get any better than singing ‘Let It Be’ with Paul McCartney who wrote the song? Not only that, he played piano! Well, it did get even better when Ringo Starr joined in on drums, Peter Frampton on guitar and Mick Fleetwood playing percussion. I mean, seriously, how much better does it get? Thanks guys!”

It's the latest preview of Parton's debut rock-leaning record, 'Rockstar', which is due for release on November 17. It was inspired by her 2022 induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

We've already heard covers of Queen's We Are The Champions and Heart's Magic Man, as well as the original song Bygones with Judas Priest's Rob Halford ,Mötley Crüe's Nikki Sixx and guitarist John 5, and the record's lead single, World On Fire.

The 30-song record also features appearances from Stevie Nicks, Creedence Clearwater Revival’s John Fogerty, P!nk, Brandi Carlile, Cher, Sting, Miley Cyrus, Debbie Harry and Richie Sambora.
