Bleachers have returned with a new single, Modern Girl.
The anthemic track premiered on BBC Radio 1's Future Sounds with Clara Amfo, and marks the first taster of a new album from the Jack Antonoff-led rock band, as well as their debut release on their new label Dirty Hit. It's also set to appear in the final season of Netflix's Sex Education, which premieres today.
The song marks their first new music since their third album, 2021's 'Take the Sadness Out of Saturday Night', though the group released a live LP, 'Live at Radio City Music Hall', last month.
Offering '80s-style saxophone, urgent percussion and gang vocals, it wholeheartedly channels the sound and spirit of Antonoff's hero, Bruce Springsteen. Head below to check out the Alex Lockett-directed video, which captures the group playing the song in a basement.
