Megan Thee Stallion's new single has arrived.
Following a series of online teasers, the Texan rapper has released Cobra, an emotionally candid track that finds her passionately delivering bars about depression and fair-weather friends atop a rock guitar-driven backdrop.
"How can somebody so blessed wanna slit they wrist? Shit, I'd probably bleed out some Pinot, When they find me, I'm in Valentino," she says.
It's not the first time the rapper has been fearless when addressing mental health struggles. Back in fall 2022, she launched her mental health-focused website Bad Bitches Have Bad Days Too.
Head below to check out the new track's elaborate video, which is rife with symbolism, and a statement about why she chose the cobra as the song's inspiration.
Megan Thee Stallion released her latest album, 'Traumazine', in 2022. With the release of this new single, it's hoped news of a follow-up is on the way.
