Sonic Youth have announced a reissue of 'Walls Have Ears'.
The double LP live record was recorded in 1985 and bootlegged the following year, going without an official release for nearly 40 years.
However, that'll change on February 9, when a band-approved reissue will arrive digitally as well as on vinyl, CD, and cassette courtesy of Goofin'.
The release, which features recordings from gigs in Brighton and a show at London’s Hammersmith Palais (as it was then), includes classics such as The Burning Spear, I Love Her All The Time, Death Valley '69 and I'm Insane. Alongside the news, fan favourite Expressway To Yr Skull has been shared. Spin it below.
In June, the defunct New York alt-rock band released 'Live In Brooklyn, Ny.', a remixed and remastered LP of their final US performance in 2011.
