Beyoncé has announced part two of her 2022 album 'Renaissance'.
The superstar vocalist confirmed the news during an appearance in an elaborate advertisement for US communications company Verizon, which premiered during Super Bowl LVIII yesterday (February 11).
In the commercial, which co-stars Tony Hale, the singer attempts to break Verizon's network in a series of different ways, including releasing a jazz saxophone record, becoming a "Beyonc-AI" robot, running for president (BOTUS), and performing from space. As the advert ends, she says, "OK, they ready — drop the new music. I told y'all the 'Renaissance' is not over."
Immediately following the advertisement, a video was posted to Beyoncé's Instagram, which includes the new record's title and release date, and a pair of country-esque songs called Texas Hold 'Em and 16 Carriages were released to streaming services. 'Renaissance: Act II' is expected to arrive on March 29.
