Mark Knopfler has released a new single, Two Pairs Of Hands.
Drawing on folk and more traditional country music, it's the third preview of the former Dire Straits vocalist and guitarist's new album, 'One Deep River', due out via his own British Grove label via EMI on April 12. Introducing the track, he said:
"Two Pairs Of Hands would just be a song trying to explain what it's like coping with all of the info and trying to collate everything when you're standing in the middle of the stage with a huge band. You've got a big audience around you and you're just trying to process all of this stuff at the same time."
He has also collaborated with AC/DC singer Brian Johnson for a new television series, Johnson & Knopfler's Music Legends, which will begin on Sky Arts on April 25.
