John Grant Shares New Single All That School For Nothing

John Grant has shared another early single from his upcoming album.
Following It's A Bitch and The Child Catcher, All That School For Nothing marks the third preview of 'The Art Of The Lie', due out June 14 via [PIAS] Recordings.
Commenting on the electro-pop track, Grant said: "This is a song I wrote for Blondie, but they didn’t want it, so I decided to reclaim it for myself. It was much more electronic at first but when I sang it, it became clear that it was much more of a Cameo or Whodini vibe, which I’m all for!"
It arrives alongside details of three in-store performances following the record's release, with stripped-back sets lined up at Brighton's Resident Records, Nottingham's Rough Trade and London's Rough Trade East on June 15, 17 and 18, respectively.
Each appearance will also include a Q&A featuring the LP's producer Ivor Guest, and Grant will be signing copies of the album. Tickets are on sale now here.
The former Czars frontman will support 'The Art Of The Lie' with a previously scheduled autumn European tour, which includes shows in London, Sunderland, Glasgow, Dublin, Cardiff, Bristol, Bexhill-On-Sea, Birmingham, Norwich, Manchester, Leeds and Liverpool. Tickets are on sale now.
