Balance And Composure Announce Will Yip-Produced New Album 'With You In Spirit'

Balance And Composure have laid out plans for a new album.
Produced by Grammy-nominated Will Yip, 'With You In Spirit' marks the Pennsylvania emo band's first full-length release in eight years and will arrive on October 4 via their long-time collaborator's Memory Music label. Yip said:
"I truly believe that this is the best collection of Balance and Composure songs there's ever been. It has the heavy stuff, it has the fast stuff, it has the groovy stuff. It has everything they've worked on over the last 12 years."
Vocalist and guitarist Jon Simmons added: "I began to feel like a kid again. We were writing these songs for the pure reason of having an outlet and getting together with your friends, no pressure. We were longing for it, and we found it as soon as we got together. We didn’t want that train to stop."
Following a break-up in 2019 and a subsequent reunion in October 2022, the band returned in 2023 with the songs Savior Mode and Last To Know. Now back with news of a follow-up to 2016's 'Light We Made', they've previewed it with the lead single, Cross To Bear, a brooding self-reflective rock track.
Balance and Composure will play a previously announced show at London's Islington Assembly Hall on July 1, following their appearance at Manchester's Outbreak Fest.
