The Flaming Lips Announce 'Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots' 20th Anniversary UK & Ireland Tour

The Flaming Lips will return to the UK and Ireland in spring 2025.
The American psych-rock band will continue the 20th anniversary celebrations of their 2002 album, 'Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots', with shows in Birmingham, Edinburgh, Leeds, Manchester, Bristol, Dublin, where they'll play two nights at the 3Olympia Theatre, and London, where they'll headline the O2 Academy Brixton on April 6. Tickets go on general sale at 10am on Friday (June 7).
The group will also perform 'Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots' in full across the US this summer. Tickets for that tour are already on sale.
Following that, this fall they'll support Weezer on their Voyage To The Blue Planet Tour across North America this September and October.
The Flaming Lips released a 20th anniversary deluxe reissue of 'Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots' back in 2022. They teamed up with Nell Smith for 'Where The Viaduct Looms' in 2021, and put out their latest studio album, 'American Head', in 2020.
