Hinds have shared a third early single from their upcoming album.
The punchy, infectious En Forma marks Carlotta Cosials and Ana Perrote's first release sung entirely in Spanish. It serves as the latest preview of 'Viva Hinds', due out via Lucky Number on September 6, following up 2020's 'The Prettiest Curse'. Cosials commented:
"My boyfriend broke up with me and I turned 30 years old in the same week. This was the first song I could write after months of feeling absolutely devastated, immobile and pathetic. I just wanted to get better but I just couldn't, I couldn't cope with this eternal race of being happier and better and cleaner and healthier."
Perrote added: "When I talk with my girlfriends, in the same afternoon we can chat about wars, philosophy, love and clothes. I tried to reflect on this song the chaos and huge spectrum of what it’s like to be a young woman these days. How overwhelming it can be to juggle the news, politics, our bodies, relationships and laundry."
The Madrid rock duo previously teased the record with Boom Boom Back featuring Beck and February's Coffee.
Recorded in rural France, the LP also boasts a collaboration with Grian Chatten of Fontaines D.C., as well as production from Pete Robertson, engineering from Tom Roach and mixing from Grammy Award-winner Caesar Edmunds.
Hinds will tour North America in October, following a show at London's Lafayette in September. They've also scheduled new UK and European tour dates for February and March 2025. Tickets for the UK shows go on general sale at 10am local time on Wednesday (June 19).
NEW // With their new album 'Viva Hinds' due to land in September, Spanish indie duo @hindsband will be making their return to the UK for a run of shows to support it in February. Woohoo!
