Osees Tease 'SORCS 80' With Second Single Earthling

Osees have shared a second single from their upcoming album.
Earthling marks the latest preview of 'SORCS 80', which is due out on August 9 via Castle Face Records.
Anchored by fuzzy bass tones, the synth-driven, psych-punk track follows on from the West Coast rockers' June single Cassius, Brutus & Judas. Frontman John Dwyer commented:
"Earthling is written about all the parts of myself I've tried to change over the years. I'm sure a lot of people can relate to wanting to shift things in themselves for the better. Wanting to appeal to your human side and not all your demons and lesser emotions."
He continued: "It's work to be a "good" person to your average human. So over time we focus on putting things to rest that have haunted us for too long. Life is short so soak up a good moments before they're gone."
Osees will support the LP with shows at both London's Electric Ballroom and Dingwalls in August, before embarking on a North American tour in the autumn. They'll also appear at various European festivals this summer, including Green Man in Brecon, Wales on August 17. Tickets are on sale now.
