Illuminati Hotties Releases Title Track Of New Album 'Power'

Illuminati Hotties, the project of Grammy winner Sarah Tudzin, has shared the title track of her new album.
With 'Power' set to arrive through Hopeless Records on August 23, the melodic indie-pop track follows on from May's single Can't Be Still and last month's Cavetown-assisted Didn't in previewing the follow-up to 2021's 'Let Me Do One More'. Tudzin said:
"Power is a reckoning with mortality. It was the song I avoided writing every time I sat down with a guitar until it finally fell out of me. In it I’m asking over and over, how am I supposed to participate in earthly existence after the passing of my mom, who so selflessly gave me her confidence, who instilled my power? There is no answer, and there is no sign."
Tudzin will support the LP's release with a North American tour in the fall. Tickets are on sale now.
