Brand New Heavies Announce 2025 Royal Albert Hall Show With London Concert Orchestra

Brand New Heavies have announced a special show in London.
The acid jazz and funk band will perform with the London Concert Orchestra at the Royal Albert Hall on March 12, 2025.
Returning to the venue for the first time in 27 years, the group will be joined on stage by a number of special guests, including Omar James Taylor from The James Taylor Quartet, Tony Momrelle of Incognito, Snowboy and Eddie Piller.
Support will come from Boreal Sun and Cut Capers. Tickets go on general sale at 10am on Friday (July 26).
The announcement comes alongside details of a remastered and expanded 30th anniversary edition of the British band's 1994 breakout album, 'Brother Sister', due out on September 27.
Alongside the original tracklist, it'll include three additional tracks, Los Burritos from the US version of the record, as well as two b-sides from the era; Baby Don't Use Me and Touch Of Your Love. It also contains previously unheard material from the LP's recording sessions, plus deep cuts, remixes and reworkings.

"There’s some really great storytelling there – you might have a romantic betrayal, or an uplifting message. Every song has that push-and-pull that creates this dynamic, and I think that’s what a lot of people fell in love with.”
Co-founder Simon Bartholomew added: "You can hear it all – the human experience, the joy of creating, the struggle, the fun. It’s all in there!"
Brand New Heavies will also embark on the Brother Sister 30th Anniversary Tour of the UK in November. Tickets for those dates are already on sale.
