Shawn Mendes Shares Two New Singles From Upcoming Album 'Shawn'

Shawn Mendes has released two new singles from his upcoming fifth album.
Why Why Why and Isn't That Enough are lifted from 'Shawn', due out through Island Records on October 18. The former is a strummed, country-tinged acoustic bop, while the latter is an acoustic guitar-led ballad that unfurls across vocal harmonies and harmonica.
The songs mark the Canadian singer-songwriter's first solo tracks since his 2023 charity single, What the Hell Are We Dying For?, and 'Shawn' will serve as his first new record since 2020's 'Wonder'.
Mendes performed the album in full at Bearsville Theater in Woodstock, New York last night (August 8). He'll run through the record again at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane in London on Tuesday (August 13), before doing the same at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium, Brooklyn Paramount, The Ford in Los Angeles and Seattle's Paramount Theatre in mid-October.
The shows mark the 26-year-old's first headline performances since cancelling his Wonder: The World Tour dates due to mental health struggles in 2022.
He'll also headline Corona Capital festival in Mexico City in November.
