Dua Lipa Announces First Live Album 'Dua Lipa Live From The Royal Albert Hall'

Dua Lipa has laid out plans for her first live album.
'Dua Lipa Live From The Royal Albert Hall', as the title suggests, was recorded at the iconic London venue, capturing her one-night-only performance there on October 17, where she was backed by a 53-piece orchestra conducted by Ben Foster, a 14-strong choir, and a seven-piece band.
The release features a reimagined version of her latest album, 'Radical Optimism', performed in its entirety, along with other hits. It'll arrive on December 6, with a special An Evening With Dua Lipa concert special to air via ITV on December 8. Lipa said:
"Getting to perform at The Royal Albert Hall was unlike anything I’ve ever done. For the longest time, I’ve had this idea to reimagine my music with an orchestra, and when I was making 'Radical Optimism', I was constantly thinking about the live element and how these songs would transform on stage, so when The Royal Albert Hall show came up, it presented itself as the perfect opportunity to not only reconstruct these songs, but also celebrate them in such a beautiful and intimate way. The experience was entirely thrilling and equally rewarding. It was a dream come true, and something I’ll always take with me."
Lipa's Radical Optimism World Tour will continue throughout 2025, with Australian and New Zealand shows lined up for March and April, followed by European and UK dates, including two shows apiece at London's Wembley Stadium and Liverpool's Anfield Stadium.
The North American leg will commence in September, kicking off with two dates at Toronto's Scotiabank Arena on September 1 and 2, and wrapping up at Seattle's Climate Pledge Arena on October 15 and 16. Tickets are on sale now.
