Toni Cornell, the daughter of late Soundgarden and Audioslave singer Chris Cornell, has released a new single.
Sunset Of Your Love offers airy, Lana Del Rey-esque vocals mixed with rock-orientated instrumentation, comprising mainly guitars and synths. It was penned by MoZella, who co-wrote Miley Cyrus' massive 2013 hit Wrecking Ball, and produced by Dave Hamelin, who worked on Beyoncé's Grammy-nominated single 16 Carriages.
Cornell describes the single as her official debut, though she did put out a song called Far Away Places in 2019, featuring production by her dad. She has also previously covered Pearl Jam's Black and Prince's Nothing Compares 2 U.
There are no details on an album from Cornell, but on a recent Instagram post about the new song she revealed, "there's a lot more where this came from."
