Destroyer, the musical project of Dan Bejar, has announced a new album.
The Canadian singer-songwriter will release 'Dan's Boogie' through Merge on March 28, marking his first full-length project since 2022's 'Labyrinthitis'.
With the news comes the record's first single, Bologna, which offers Destroyer's signature dreamy style weaved with widescreen, percussion-heavy production that supports prominent lead vocals from Fiver's Simone Schmidt. Bejar explained:
"I haven’t written many songs like Bologna. I struggled singing the first and third verses, the most important parts of the song. They needed gravity and grit. The threat of disappearing needed to be real. So I called Simone."

Destroyer will tour the US alongside Father John Misty in February. He'll also play Primavera Sound in Barcelona, as well as UK shows in Manchester, Bristol and London, in June. Tickets are on sale now.
