The Darkness Tease 'Dreams On Toast' With New Single Rock And Roll Party Cowboy

The Darkness have shared another single from their upcoming album.
Rock And Roll Party Cowboy is a balls-to-the-wall rocker that takes a tongue-in-cheek look at the macho hedonism of the '70s and '80s music scene.
Drawing on influences from rock giants such as ZZ Top, Motörhead and Judas Priest, with driving drums, gang vocals and seismic riffs and hooks, it marks the third preview of 'Dreams On Toast', due out through Cooking Vinyl on March 28. Frontman Justin Hawkins said:
"People recognise me as astronaut pirate movie star cool and that’s obviously accurate. What they may have overlooked though, is that I am also ROCK AND ROLL PARTY COWBOY cool… which is a good 15 percent cooler!!! I think you’ll recognise that in the first listen."
The Lowestoft band previously teased the follow-up to 2021's 'Motorheart' with the singles I Hate Myself and The Longest Kiss. They'll support it with their biggest headline tour across the UK to date in the spring, with support from Ash. They'll also play dates in Limerick and Killarney in the summer, alongside slots at Download festival and Belfast's CHSq concert series. Tickets are on sale now.
