Bury Tomorrow have released a new single, Let Go.
Dealing in their signature metalcore sound infused with electro elements, it marks the third taster of the Southampton outfit's new album, 'Will You Haunt Me, With That Same Patience', due out on May 16. On the lyrics, vocalist Daniel Winter-Bates commented:
"To be dishonest with yourself leads to decisions based in fear and can lead to regret, while to be true to yourself can cost some of the things you hold closest."
Co-vocalist Tom Prendergast added: "There is a sense throughout the song that we can often give all of our energy to a toxic situation and need to recognise when to cut ties to grow. Let go is about how that can shape you, change you and define your choices and your path through life – There is a cost to every choice, and there are some harder to let go of than others."
The follow-up to 2023's 'The Seventh Sun' also includes their previously shared singles What If I Burn and Villain Arc, and marks the band's first collaboration with producer Carl Bown, whose résumé boasts Bring Me The Horizon, Sleep Token, Bullet For My Valentine, Pendulum and While She Sleeps.
Bury Tomorrow have co-headline North American dates with While She Sleeps in the diary for April, followed by their own intimate record store shows in Bristol, Portsmouth, Birmingham and Leeds between May 19 and 22. Head here for details.
