Jools Holland And His Rhythm & Blues Orchestra Schedule UK Tour With Special Guest Imelda May

Jools Holland and his Rhythm and Blues Orchestra have scheduled UK shows for the autumn and winter.
The 30-date tour runs between October 30 and December 21 and features stops in most major towns and cities, including two nights apiece at Southend's Cliffs Pavilion, London's Royal Albert Hall, Birmingham's Symphony Hall and Glasgow's SEC Armadillo.
Special guest Imelda May will join Jools and his band during the tour. Holland said:
"From the moment I first heard and saw her, I realized that she is one of the true greats of music who understands old and new music. Her ravishing voice can illuminate both ballads and boogie woogie like no one else."
The tour will also see drummer Ed Richardson joining the orchestra, following the retirement of Gilson Lavis who kept the beat with Squeeze and the orchestra over several decades. Tickets for all dates go on general sale at 10am on Friday (January 31).
The musician also has UK dates in the diary for May, June and July, with special guests Chris Difford and Joe Webb on select dates. Before those, he'll play a mix of full orchestra and small band gigs in Europe in February, March and April. Tickets for those dates are on sale now.
Holland collaborated with Rod Stewart for the album 'Swing Fever' in 2024.
