BLACKPINK's Jennie has released another single from her upcoming debut solo album.
Love Hangover features a verse from Florida singer-songwriter Dominic Fike, and marks the third preview of 'Ruby', due out on March 7 via Odd Atelier/Columbia.
The mellow, soul-inflected break-up track offers a change of pace from the anthemic qualities of the K-Pop idol's previously unveiled singles, Zen and Mantra. Head below to view the accompanying video, helmed by Los Angeles director duo Bradley & Pablo, and starring May December and Riverdale actor Charles Melton.
In addition to Fike, 'Ruby' will also feature collaborations with Childish Gambino, Dua Lipa, Doechii, FKJ and Kali Uchis.
Jennie recently announced intimate The Ruby Experience shows celebrating the release of the album, taking place in Los Angeles on March 6 and 7, New York on March 10 and Seoul, South Korea on March 15. Tickets for the US dates go on general sale at 10am local time today (January 31).
She'll also perform solo at Coachella festival for the first time in April, where her BLACKPINK bandmate Lisa will also take to the stage for her own set, following the release of her own solo debut LP, 'Alter Ego', on February 28.
The two other BLACKPINK members have also put out solo material, with Rosé dropping her debut solo studio album, 'Rosie', in December, and Jisoo sharing her debut solo project, 'ME', in 2023. It was recently announced that Jisoo has inked a new deal with Warner Records ahead of the release of her new mini-album, 'Amortage', on February 14.
BLACKPINK, meanwhile, released their most recent album, 'Born Pink', in 2022.
