As explained by the Florida hip hop star in an Instagram story, she originally recorded Anxiety five years ago during her Coven sessions on YouTube. The track was later picked up and sampled by rapper Sleepy Hallow for his 2023 song of the same name.
In February, Doechii won her first Grammy Award in the Best Rap Album category for her 2024 breakthrough record, 'Alligator Bites Never Heal'. Hot on the heels of her victory, she released the single Nosebleeds later that night. A few weeks later, she collaborated with BLACKPINK's Jennie on the single ExtraL, from the K-Pop idol's debut solo album, 'Ruby', which is out this Friday (March 7).
Doechii will co-headline Forwards festival in Bristol with Jorja Smith and The Last Dinner Party on August 24. Head here for more details. Tickets go on general sale at 10am on Thursday (March 6).
She'll also appear at Denmark's Roskilde Festival in July, and support RAYE at the singer's All Points East show at London's Victoria Park on August 23. Tickets for those dates are on sale now.
