Idlewild have scheduled their first UK tour in six years for late autumn.
The Edinburgh alt-rock stalwarts will head to Newcastle, Leeds, Wolverhampton, Cambridge, Bristol, London and Manchester between October 10 and 18, before shows in Aberdeen and Glasgow on December 5 and 7, respectively. Tickets go on general sale at 10am on Friday (March 14). Confirming the dates, the band said:
"We’re very happy to be heading on tour later this year, stopping by some of our favourite cities and venues, with a final night at the Barrowland Ballroom in December."
Idlewild will also play Deer Shed festival in Yorkshire in July. They released their most recent album, 'Interview Music', in 2019, followed by the 'Interview Music - Acoustic' EP in 2020.
