The Wombats are the next headliners to be confirmed for the Rock N Roll Circus series.
The Liverpool indie trio will headline the Don Valley Bowl in Sheffield on August 29, following sets from Jamie Webster, Circa Waves, Nell Mescal, The Rosadocs, Freddie Halkon, Bethany Grace, Deco, Crystal Tides, and more. Tickets go on general sale at 9am on Friday (March 21).
Other acts previously confirmed to headline the Sheffield concert series this summer include Queens Of The Stone Age on August 27 and 28, Reverend and the Makers on August 30, and James on August 31.
A sister event will also take place at Norwich's Earlham Park for the first time this year, with headliners McFly on August 14, Courteeners on August 15 and Olly Murs on August 16. Head here for tickets.
Last month, The Wombats released their latest album, 'Oh! The Ocean', which they'll support with a run of UK arena shows between March 18 and 26 as part of a wider European tour featuring support from Everything Everything and Red Rum Club. Following that, they'll tour North America in the fall.
They'll headline Trentham Estate on May 29 as part of the At Trentham series, before a hometown show at the Pier Head on June 19 as part of Liverpool's On The Waterfront concert series. They'll also play Kendal Calling, Neighbourhood Weekender, Y Not? festival, The Big Feastival, and Boardmasters during the summer. Tickets are on sale now.
They're set to co-headline shows with Razorlight at Dreamland Margate and Hitchin Priory in August, with the latter being rearranged to August 30 due to it clashing with the new Sheffield show.
