Mother Mother have laid out plans for their 10th studio album.
The follow-up to 2024's 'Grief Chapter' is titled 'Nostalgia' and will arrive on June 6 via Parlophone/Warner Records. Frontman Ryan Guldemond commented:
"In creating 'Nostalgia', our goal was to embody a childlike creativity which often becomes elusive as we age and gather too many tricks. We evaluated every creative choice by its emotional impact—whether that was a lyric, a reverb trail or an EQ curve. If something didn’t evoke a strong emotional reaction—we let it go. This approach led to work we genuinely love and take pride in."
As a preview, the Canadian band have shared the single Make Believe, an urgent, psychedelic alt-rock offering. Press play below.
Following the record's release, Mother Mother will hit the road for a European tour that includes a show at London's O2 Academy Brixton on July 16. Tickets go on general sale at 9am local time on Friday (March 21).
