Gary Barlow Returns With New Single If There's Not A Song About It Featuring Colbie Caillat

Gary Barlow has returned with a new single, If There's Not A Song About It.
The Take That star worked on the soaring country-pop duet alongside Grammy-winning Colbie Caillat and Gavin DeGraw, following initial writing sessions in his London studio.
It features Barlow and Caillat's vocals weaving together in harmony, and marks the first preview of a forthcoming EP from Barlow, due out later this year. He said:
"I drew inspiration from a friend’s situation, to write a song that explores those complex emotions when a breakup ends on good terms. There’s an undeniable sadness, but also acceptance; I wrote it in London before coming together with the brilliant Colbie and Gavin DeGraw - if there wasn’t a song about it, there is now!"
Caillat added: "Working with Gary and Gavin on If There’s Not A Song About It was such a special experience. The song beautifully captures the emotions of parting ways with gratitude rather than heartbreak, and I loved being part of that message, especially because it’s something I’ve personally experienced. Gary is an incredible songwriter, and blending our voices on this track felt effortless. I can’t wait for everyone to hear it!"
The song arrives ahead of Barlow's huge Songbook Tour, which will see him celebrating his four-decade-strong career, performing songs from his solo back catalogue and with Take That. The run includes performances in Halifax as part of the Live At The Piece Hall series, St. Austell in Cornwall as part of the Eden Sessions, and a headlining appearance at Hampton Court Palace Festival in London. Tickets are on sale now.
He released his most recent studio album, and sixth overall, 'The Dream of Christmas', in 2021, which followed 2020's 'Music Played by Humans'. Take That's latest album, meanwhile, is 2023's 'This Life'.
