Mogwai Join Line-Up For London's South Facing Festival

Mogwai have joined the line-up for this year's South Facing Festival.
The Glasgow post-rock band will headline London's Crystal Palace Bowl on August 7, joined by special guests Lankum. Tickets go on general sale at 10am on March 28.
Other headliners already confirmed for this summer's South Facing Festival include Basement Jaxx, Nile Rodgers and CHIC for the Love Motion disco all-dayer, Flackstock (the festival held in memory of Caroline Flack), and Skepta's Big Smoke Festival.
Reggae and dancehall legend Barrington Levy will also perform at Troxy on August 10 as part of the series, and Dutch electronic group Tinlicker will take over Crystal Palace Bowl for their biggest London headline show yet on August 16. Tickets for all previously announced dates are on sale now.
Mogwai released their latest album, and 11th overall, 'The Bad Fire', in January via their own Rock Action Records. Singles from it include Fanzine Made Of Flesh, God Gets You Back and Lion Rumpus.
The band supported the LP with a UK and European tour in February. They'll headline BBC 6 Music Festival in Manchester on March 28, before North American dates in April and May, and a return to Scotland for two nights at Glasgow's Barrowland Ballroom on May 17 and 18. They also have Irish shows scheduled for July, and European dates lined up for the spring and summer. Tickets are on sale now.
