Pet Shop Boys have added a new UK show to their summer tour plans.
The electro-pop legends will headline the Royal Sandringham Estate in Norfolk on August 14 as part of the Heritage Live concert series. Support will come from special guests Scissor Sisters. Tickets go on general sale at 9am on March 28. Heritage Live's Giles Cooper OBE said:
“We’re absolutely thrilled to be staging a show for the legendary PET SHOP BOYS at Sandringham this summer! It’s been an ambition of us all at Heritage Live to have them perform at one of our events at some point, but for the stars to have aligned to make it happen at the spectacular Royal Estate will make this show absolutely, awesome!
"And… having SCISSOR SISTERS as special guests will make this one of those nights that we will never forget for the rest of our lives!”
Also set to headline Heritage Live shows this summer are Mariah Carey, The Beach Boys, The Jacksons, Manic Street Preachers and Roger Daltrey. Tickets for those dates are on sale now here.
The new Norfolk show forms part of Pet Shop Boys' Dreamworld: The Greatest Hits Live Tour, which will also see them play Cardiff Castle on July 31 as part of the Depot Live concert series, and headline this year's Hardwick Festival in Sedgefield, County Durham on August 16 and Warwick Castle Live series on August 30.
The summer will also see Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe head to mainland Europe for a short run of festival appearances, including Lucca Summer Festival in Italy on July 20 and Lokerse Feesten Festival in Belgium on August 2.
The duo put out their most recent album, 'Nonetheless', in 2024. Last year's concert film, Dreamworld: The Greatest Hits Live at the Royal Arena Copenhagen, will be released on CD and Blu-ray on May 2.
