The Wombats have announced a new round of UK and Ireland shows for the winter.
Due to demand, the Liverpool indie band have confirmed an additional six dates, kicking off on December 5 in Newcastle, before stops in Birmingham, Bournemouth, Dublin, Belfast and Blackpool, where the run will wrap up at the Empress Ballroom on December 11. Tickets go on general sale at 9am on Friday (March 28).
The announcement comes amid the trio's current spring UK and European tour, which will continue with performances in Glasgow and Leeds this week, before the European leg between March 28 and April 16, and North American dates in the fall.
They'll headline Trentham Estate on May 29 as part of the At Trentham series, before a hometown show at the Pier Head on June 19 as part of Liverpool's On The Waterfront concert series.
They'll also co-headline shows with Razorlight at Dreamland Margate and Hitchin Priory in the summer, alongside appearances at the Rock N Roll Circus series in Sheffield, Kendal Calling, Neighbourhood Weekender, Y Not? festival, The Big Feastival, and Boardmasters. Tickets for all previously announced dates are on sale.
The band are touring in support of their new album, and sixth overall, 'Oh! The Ocean', which arrived in February via AWAL Recordings.
