Laura Jane Grace In The Trauma Tropes Announce New Album 'Adventure Club'

Laura Jane Grace In The Trauma Tropes will release a new album this summer.
'Adventure Club' is a 12-track record inspired by Grace's summer 2024 trip to Greece, where she joined an artist residency program in Athens and made a bunch of adventurous pals that she lovingly refers to as, you guessed it, the Adventure Club. They explored beaches and seaside caves, as well as swimming with turles and visiting the standard tourism stops.
The record, which will arrive on July 18 via Polyvinyl Record Co., sees Grace joined by her wife and collaborator Paris Campbell Grace (vocals), and Greece-based musicians Jacopo “Jack” Fokas (bass) and Orestis Lagadinos (drums). As a preview, head below to check out the sub-two-minute first single, Mine Me Mine, an Oi!-leaning melodic punk track with its sights locked on capitalists.
The punk singer-songwriter recently experienced backlash from right-wing conservatives in the US when she performed her song Your God (God's Dick) at a Bernie Sanders event in Wisconsin in early March. She stood by her performance and the track will appear on the new album. Check it out here.
'Adventure Club' follows up her 2024 EP 'Give An Inch' with the Mississippi Medicals, which also featured Paris, but saw Drive-By Truckers' Matt Patton on bass and The Ergs' Mikey Erg on drums. She supported that record and her solo LP from the same year, 'Hole In My Head', with a UK and European tour that November under the moniker Laura Jane Grace And The Trauma Tropes, a slight variation of the aforementioned line-up.
