Jack Garratt has announced his third studio album.

'Pillars', the follow-up to 2020's 'Love, Death & Dancing', will arrive through Cooking Vinyl on August 15. Self-produced and mixed by Garratt, the album was recorded in his North London studio and features a contribution from producer Johan Hugo, whose résumé includes work with Self Esteem and Mumford and Sons. Garratt said:

"This is the most authentic record I’ve made yet. I’ve gone through years of confusion and self-discovery to get here. I want this album to be an invitation - a celebration where everyone is welcome. No guest list, no barriers. Just come in, the water’s fine."

As a preview, the BRIT-winning artist has shared the rousing first single, Catherine Wheel, a bright and bold pop offering that forms the basis for the record. Penned during a trip to Los Angeles while the singer was struggling with feelings of self-doubt, the song came to him during a moment of self-discovery. He explained:

"I was fully ready to quit music. But Catherine Wheel became my true north - it reignited my love for creating and set the tone for the entire album."

Alongside news of the record, Garratt has scheduled an intimate headline show at London’s Village Underground for May 1. Fans can gain access to tickets by pre-ordering 'Pillars' here.

Since 'Love Death & Dancing' Garratt has released a number of live albums, and the 2023 'Hands Go Up' EP.
