Babymetal have announced a new album.
The Japanese metal trio will release 'Metal Forth', meaning "beyond metal", on June 13. It'll include their 2024 single Ratatata with Electric Callboy, and 2023's track Metali!! featuring Rage Against The Machine guitarist Tom Morello, as well as collaborations with Spiritbox, Polyphia, Slaughter To Prevail, Bloodywood and Poppy, who guests on the opening track, From Me To U, which will be shared by the band this Friday (April 4).
Details of the follow-up to 2023's concept record 'The Other One' arrived alongside news that Su-Metal, Moametal and Momometal have signed a global deal with Capitol Records.
They've also revealed further touring plans for their 15th anniversary year via a "legend map" on their official website, which features new arena shows in the US in November, and Japan in January 2026, along with a tour of Asia this September and October. Dates and venues are still to be confirmed.
The new shows will follow their previously scheduled debut headline arena tour of Europe this spring, which includes a performance at the O2 Arena in London on May 30, and their biggest North American tour yet between June 13 and July 23.
Support on the UK and European leg will come from Poppy and Bambie Thug, while Black Veil Brides, Jinger and Bloodywood will support on select dates in North America. Tickets for all dates are on sale now.
